About the Club
Burrelton Rovers AFC is an amateur football club based in Perthshire, Scotland, competing in the Jewson Perth Division One — the top tier of the Perthshire Amateur Football Association.
Founded on 7th December 1926, the club has a long-standing connection with the local community. Burrelton Rovers play their home matches at Recreation Park, a ground established through local fundraising after land was purchased from Drummond Estates for £70.
Throughout its history, the club has worn a number of colours. Burrelton Rovers previously played in red and black stripes, most notably during the 1975/76 season, when the club achieved an invincible treble-winning campaign. The club also had a period wearing maroon and sky blue, before transitioning to its modern identity. Today, Burrelton Rovers are most recognisable in all red.
A standout moment in the club’s history came in 2012, when Burrelton Rovers lifted the North of Tay Cup with a 2–1 victory over Bank Street Athletic AFC at Dens Park.
Burrelton Rovers AFC continues to compete in local football while maintaining strong links with the community it represents.
